When I first stepped into the wedding industry, I was hit with a reality I couldn’t ignore: it felt like I didn't belong. Every wedding looked the same, every story followed the same script, and nowhere in it could I see myself or so many others.
From gendered getting-ready expectations to “bride and groom” forms, it felt like the industry had already decided what a wedding should look like, and who it should be for.
But that's why I became a wedding photographer. To be there for you, cheering you on and validating you. To help you find affirming vendors. To capture your relationship in its purest form. To give you a place you belong, even when this industry tries to tell you otherwise.
I'm here to let you be you on the most important day of your life.
A human's memory is unreliable at best. It fades, twists, and disappears altogether. And slowly, you lose grasp of your own history.
Photographs are the thing that keep your memories alive. They are real, tangible proof, jogging the sound of your grandpa's laugh, the smell of your mother's perfume, and the feeling of your partner's hand in yours. They're the glimpse into the generations before you, helping you understand who they were and where you came from.
So for me, I strive to create photographs that capture the real thing. They pay ode to the nostalgia through a mix of film mediums, while allowing you to hold onto those precious memories, forever.
True memories, captured forever
